Jean Marie Trier
Alva, OK. - The graveside service for Jean Marie Trier, 74, Alva, OK., was March 2, 2005 at Auburn Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Kalfas officiating. Arrangements were by Marshall Funeral Home, Alva, OK. She died Feb. 28, 2005, at Beadles Nursing Home, Alva.
She was born June 30, 1930, in Cherokee, OK. to Louis LeRoy and Laura Oringderff Baltz. She graduated from Cherokee High School and attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She married John S. Trier in 1953. She lived in California for many years before moving to Alva in 1985. She worked as a bookkeeper. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Alva.
She is survived by a son, Mark of Arlington, Wash.; a brother, Dean Baltz of Alva, OK., and two sisters, Barbara Brady of Alva, OK. and Orvella White of Cherokee, OK.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
