ROSEMARIE SCHURTER FINLAY
The funeral for Rosemarie Schurter Finlay, 71, of Roanoke, Ill., formerly of Burlington, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Lanman Funeral Home Chapel, Cherokee. The Rev. Dale Schurter will officiate. Burial will follow in Apostolic Christian Cemetery, Burlington. Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 23, 1935, in Burlington to Vernon C. and Anna Marie Kisling Schurter and died Thursday, July 20, 2006, in Roanoke.
Surviving are three sons, Tony Blue of Winnsboro, Texas, David Blue of Boise, Idaho, and Curtis Blue of Arlington, Wash.; two brothers, Dale Schurter of Pennsylvania and Sam Schurter of Burlington; two sisters, Doris Daughhetee of Burlington and Darlene Brown of Anaheim, Calif.; three grandsons; and four granddaughters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Apostolic Christian Home in Roanoke.
