From the book, The Fighting Men of Oklahoma: PFC Oliver P. Allenbach, son of Mr. & Mrs. P.J. Allenbach, was born March 18, 1919 and attended Burlington High School. He was inducted into the service at Okla. City May 7, 1942 and received his basic training at Ft. Knox KY. Allenbach served in the American Theater and received his discharge Oct. 20, 1943.
