A memorial service for Martha Helen Thomas, 78, will be held at First Christian Church in Aline on Friday, August 27, 2004 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Casey McKenna, Rev. David Jones and Rev. Martha was born July 24, 1926 on the family farm south of Aline to Carl and Amelia Sonnenberg Mittelstet. She died August 24, 2004 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid.
Martha is survived by one daughter, Pamela Baggett and husband, Larry of Enid; two sons, Gregory Thomas and wife, Dixie of Wichita, Kansas and Kent Thomas and wife, Jaci of Cleo Springs; five grandchildren, Jason Baggett and wife, Julie, Amanda Blake and husband, Ed, Tyler Thomas, Kolby Thomas and Brady Thomas; two brothers, C.F. Mittelstet of Fairview and Johnie Mittelstet of Enid; three sisters, Emily Record of Enid, Doris Holle of Fairmont and Marjorie Green of Steilacoom, Washington.
She is preceded in death by her husband Louis; five sisters, Olga Pralle of Enid, Elfreda (Fritz) Elliott of Enid, Wilma Russell of Stroud, Clara Booze of Enid and Amelia Grace Mittelstet of Enid; four brothers, Herman Mittelstet of Zalotek, Russia, Richard Mittelstet of Aline, R.A. Mittelstet (Runt) of Borger, Texas and Ed Mittelstet of Aline.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, Aline School Alumni Scholarship Foundation or the organization of your choice through the funeral home.
