MICHAEL DON SINGREE
A graveside service for Michael “Mike” Don Singree, 42, of Ingleside, Texas, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Aline Star Cemetery near Aline, OK. The Rev. Tom Cooksey will officiate. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Cherokee, OK. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m today at the funeral home.
He was born Dec. 12, 1962, at Bartlesville, OK. and died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005, at his home in Ingleside, TX.
He graduated from Wichita East High School in 1981. He served in the Navy for 24 years and served in Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He was assigned to Afloat Training Group at Naval Station Ingleside. He was a member of Ingleside United Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Moose Lodge.
Survivors are his wife, Shawn Marie of the home; two daughters, Cheyenne, and Kimberly of Ingleside, TX.; parents, Don and Myrna Singree of Wichita, Kan.; one brother, Chris Singree of Wichita, Kan.; two sisters Lori Daniel Nickel of Newton, Kan., and Susan Douglas Haines of Tampa, Fla.
Memorials may be made to Pearl Harbor Memorial Fund, 1 Arizona Memorial Place, Honolulu, HI, 96818.

Ingleside, TX. -- Funeral services for Michael "Mike" Don Singree, 42, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec.9, 2005, at United Methodist Church in Ingleside, Texas. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005, at Aline Star Cemetery, Aline, OK., directed by Lanman Funeral Home, Helena, OK. He died Dec. 3, 2005, at his home in Ingleside.
He was born Dec. 12, 1962, in Bartlesville, OK. He attended school in Wichita, KS., and graduated from Wichita East High School in 1981. He has served in the U.S. Navy for the last 24 years and served in Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Electronic Technician Chief Petty Officer (Surface Warfare) Singree was assigned to Afloat Training Group at Naval Station Ingleside.
He was a member of Ingleside United Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Shawn Marie, and daughters, Cheyenne and Kimberly Singree, all of Ingleside; parents, Don and Myrna Sherman Singree, and brother, Chris, all of Wichita, KS., and sisters, Lori Nickel of Newton, KS., and Susan Haines of Tampa, FL. Singree's parents were formerly of Aline, OK. and Amorita, OK.
