July 11, 1945 - November 27, 2020

Today many hearts are broken at the loss of a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Judith Ann Hardy Schlarb passed away after a short illness on November 27, 2020. She was born on July 11, 1945, in Oklahoma City to Ramsey K and Virginia Bruce Hardy.

She is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 55 years, Larry Schlarb; son John and wife Leslie; son Jeff and wife Frankie and grandchildren Reilly, Jordan, Austin, Jeffrey and his wife Courtney. She is also survived by her sister Lisa Hodges and husband Charlie; brother and sister-in-law Jack and Connie Schlarb; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Steve Hardy, and one granddaughter Jillian.

Judy graduated from Enid High School in 1963 and attended Oklahoma State University for one year.

She married the love of her life, Larry Schlarb, on July 9th, 1965, in Enid. Together they moved to several states for Larry's job and made lifelong friends near and far. She worked for several years at Shelton School in Dallas, TX. After both retired, they settled down in Cleo Springs near the family farm. She became very active in the Aline United Methodist Church. She served on many committees and enjoyed sharing her faith through song. She loved her Bible study group and serving the Lord. She was the most loving and loyal person to walk this earth. The love she had for her children and grandchildren was limitless. She was an avid and voracious reader. She loved her books and her Bible.

The family would like to give a special thanks to all the medical staff for taking such good care of our Mema.

A celebration of her life will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 2nd, at Aline Star Cemetery, under the direction of Anderson Burris Funeral Home, with Pastor Jessica Husted officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made through the funeral home to the Aline United Methodist Church.

Condolences may be made online at www.andersonburris.com.
