THOMAS GENE RENEAU
The funeral mass for Thomas G. Reneau, 70, of Harper, Kan., will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Harper. The Rev. Michael Peltzer will officiate. Burial will be 3:30 p.m. in Eastern Star Cemetery, Aline. Arrangements are by Prairie Rose Funeral Home, Anthony.
He was born June 9, 1928, in Oakwood to Ivan W. and Mary A. Higgenbottom Reneau and died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Wichita, Kan.
He married Donna Ruth Stevens Nov. 25, 1955, in Pratt, Kan. She died April 15, 1977. He married Betty Vanderpool April 22, 1978, in Maize, Kan. He worked for Boeing Aircraft Co. as a painter.
Surviving are his wife, Betty, of Harper; one son, Gary Kennedy of Wichita; three daughters, Debbie Smith of Haysville, Kan., Cathy Hagar of Cheney Kan., and Vicki Hobert of Clearwater, Kan.; three brothers, Dale Reneau of Joplin, Mo,, Earl Reneau of Medicine Lodge, Kan., and Jim Reneau of Caldwell, Kan.; and 14 grandchildren. In addition to his first wife, Donna, he was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and one son.
