ALINE - The funeral for Raymond "Bud" Pullan Jr., 71, of Aline, was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at Aline High School Gymnasium. Pastor Cody Anderson and Polly Young officiated. Burial was in Aline Star Cemetery. Arrangements were by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Helena.
He was born July 11, 1938, in Cleo Springs to Raymond Lloyd Sr. and Ada Alberta Beagley Pullan and died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at his home.
He married Pat Peterson May 28, 1960, in Aline. He was a custom harvester, farmer, rancher and mechanic. He also worked in the oil fields. He was a member of the Lions Club, volunteer fire department, Aline-Cleo FFA Ag Boosters, Aline-Cleo FFA Alumni Association and American Quarter Horse Association. He also served as mayor of Aline. He was a member of Aline Christian Church, but had been attending Faith Center Fellowship, Meno.
Surviving are his wife, Pat, of Aline; four children, Randy Pullan of Aline, Rhonda Packard of Cherokee, Robyn Warfield of Enid and Rachelle Kraus of Pond Creek; three sisters, Gladys Grimes of Pond Creek, Bonnie Baier of Medicine Lodge, Kan., and Mary Lou Barendt of Tucson, Ariz.; one brother, Jack Pullan of Aline; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Aline-Cleo FFA Scholarship Fund.
