Aline--Lowell Lester Prentice, 88, died Wed. near his home. His services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Pleasant Plains Church of the Brethren, south of McWillie with Pastors Russell Kiester and John Holderread officiating. Burial will be in the Aline Star Cemetery directed by Kenny Lanman Funeral Home, Helena.
Born Oct. 12, 1899, at St. Johns, Kansas, he received his education at Ridge Valley school near Aline. On March 2, 1921, he married Lucy Whiteneck at Nash. They lived in Wichita, Kansas, for a short time before returning to the farm at Aline where they raised wheat and cattle. He was a member of the Pleasant Plains Church of the Brethren.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Olin of Enid; a daughter, Arlene Kiner of Aline; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a twin brother, Loren and two sisters.
The casket will remain closed.
Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Plains Church of the Brethren with the funeral home as custodian of the fund.
