Lola Elizabeth (Stallings) Outhier was born Dec. 29, 1929, in Anthony to C.H. "Jack" and Nettie (Ging) Stallings and went to be with the Lord on August 1, 2017, in Enid. Lola graduated from Aline High School in 1948. She married Donald D. Outhier July 17, 1948, in Enid. They had two children, Cheryl Ann and Ronald D. Don and Lola made their first home in Homestead. They lived there a couple years and then they moved to Lambert, where they lived for the next seventeen years, with the exception of four years in Lakewood, Colorado. Later they moved to Aline, where she remained until the last two years, when she moved to Cherokee to be close to family.
Lola was active in Busy Workers Extension Homemakers, Women's Auxiliary and an active supporter of FFA, FHA and sports. In retirement, she and Don enjoyed many RV trips with the Doo-Little Camping Group. They were "snowbirds" wintering in Dona, Texas. Lola worked for Montgomery Ward in Denver, the Masonic Hospital in Cherokee, Mildred's Ceramic Shop, Goodno's Grocery and Carmen Grocery. Lola was a very talented seamstress, crafter and artist. She created ceramic rose bouquets of clay, shaping one petal at a time. She especially liked music and enjoyed monthly trips to Waynoka and Carmen to hear country music. Her greatest love was her family.
Lola was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of fifty-two years, Don; her beloved brother, Bobby; sister-in-law, Helen Logan, and many loved aunts and uncles.
