Aline Star Cemetery



October 23, 1913 - July 10, 1984

Burlington – graveside services for Eula Mae Mitchell, 70, who died Tuesday morning, July 10, 1984, in a Cherokee hospital, will be at 10:30 AM Thursday in the Aline Star Cemetery, with the Rev. Don Bradford officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Grapes Funeral Home of Cherokee.

Miss Mitchell was born at Aline October 23, 1913, the daughter of William and Dollie Mitchell. She moved to Okmulgee in 1953 where she worked as a stenographer in the Rehabilitation Department of Oklahoma State Tech.

After her retirement in 1978, she moved to Burlington.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. M. G. (Beulah) Cook of Burlington and a brother, Robert A. Mitchell of Cherokee. She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

Memorials may be made to the Alfalfa County Hospital Foundation with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.

The casket will be open at the funeral home until 9:30 AM Thursday.
