Robert Darrell Murray
April 1, 1956 - March 13, 2024
Robert Darrell Murray was born on April 1, 1956 to Larry Murray and Evona Tidwell Murray in Alva, Oklahoma and passed from this life on March 13, 2024 at his home in Aline.
Robert was a truck driver by profession and hauled a variety of items. He had lived in the area for 67 years. Robert enjoyed attending church and reading scripture. His hobbies included camping, fishing, deer hunting and riding motorcycles. He really enjoyed spending time with his family and was a great granddad, as he loved teaching all of his grandkids how to fish.
Those who preceded Robert in death include his father, Larry Murray; brothers, Larry Eugene Murray and Lloyd Keith Murray; his son, Jason Polk; grandson, Walker Cunningham, nephew Gregory Murray, and brother-in-law Richard Smith.
Survivors include, his wife, Jan Murray; his mother, Evona Murray; his brother, Greg Murray and wife, Deanna of Aline; two sisters, Jo Ann Ross and husband, Gordon of San Antonio, Texas and Tami Smith of Seiling; five children, Justin Murray and wife, Jessica of McLoud, Robert Murray II of Aline, Ashley Cunningham and husband, Drew of Alva, Micah Biggs of Wakita, and Doug Murray of Carmen; seventeen grandchildren, Brianna, Thomas, Hunter, Kamryn, Haley, Stryker, Jordan, Madison, Landon, Courtlynn, Angela, Alyson, Braxton, Harleigh, Pharoah, Ghavon, and Skeleigh; and five great grandchildren, Ashton, Laney, Lukas, Javier, and Jason; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The funeral service for Robert will be Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Aline Christian Church. Viewing will be at the church on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Aline Star Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena. www.lanmanfuneralhome.com Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.
