Aline – Funeral services for Larry Cy Irwin, 47, who died Saturday, April 16, 1994 at Bass Memorial Baptist Hospital, will be at 2 PM Monday, April 18 at the First Christian Church, Aline. The Rev. Pamela Devitt will officiate. Burial will be at Aline Star Cemetery under direction of the Kenny Lanman Funeral Home, Helena.
Irwin was born May 19, 1946 at Cherokee to Virtual B. And Ila M. Thomas Irwin. He attended Aline Grade School, then Cleo Springs School, graduating in 1964. He enlisted in the U. S. Army.
He married Patricia Anm Haley of Drummond on November 14, 1965. He lived in the Aline area where he was a farmer and custom harvester. He was a member of the First Christian Church where he served as a deacon. He was named honorary chapter farmer of the Aline – Cleo FFA in 1986. He also was a member of the Aline Co – Op.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Irwin of Aline; one son, Kevin Cy Irwin of Carmen; two daughters, Kimberly Ann Irwin of Stillwater and Kristie Irwin of Aline; one brother, Steve Irwin of Aline; one sister, Joetta Jackson of Colorado; his parents, Virgil and Ila Irwin of Aline; and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Aline or Oklahoma Medical Research, Cancer Division, through the funeral home.
