Funeral service for Harold will be Monday, October 30, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Aline Christian Church. Burial follows at Aline Star Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena. Harold Lee Harmon was born December 24, 1931, to Owen Harmon and Clara Main Harmon in Aline, and passed from this life on October 26, 2017, in Duncan. He graduated from Carmen High School. Harold married Nadine Frech on November 2, 1951. They had three children, Kristy, Brian and Darren. Harold was a life-long resident of the Aline area, farming his whole life. He was also a rural mail carrier, starting as a sub in the early 60's and continued to carry the mail until 1998. Harold was a member of the Aline Christian Church, serving as a Deacon and in other offices. He was a member of the Aline Lions Club and was a member of the Aline Volunteer Fire Department for thirty years.
Those who preceded Harold in death include his wife, Nadine; one son, Darren; his parents and one brother, Glen.
Harold's survivors include his children, Kristy Ferrall and husband, Ronnie of Duncan, and Brian Harmon and wife, Shawna of Wichita, Kansas; six grandchildren, Amanda Woods and husband, Brian; April Rhoads and husband, Jonathan; Ashley Poeling and husband, Ryan; James Harmon; Scott Harmon and wife, Britny; and Anna Sharpe and husband, Harlan; great-grandchildren, Madison Woods, Hannah Woods, Austin Rhoads, Presley Poeling, Gunner Poeling, Emma Harmon and Ethan Harmon.
Memorials may be given to Aline Christian Church or the Aline Fire Department, through the funeral home.
