Funeral service for Kay Durham will be Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Aline, with burial at Aline Star Cemetery. Kay was born February 28, 1943, to Charles Henry Ridenoure and Elizabeth Lee Ridenoure in Winslow, Arkansas. She passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019, at her home in Aline. She grew up in Springdale, Arkansas, where she graduated from school. In 1979, she moved to Cleo Springs and has lived in this area for forty years.
She worked as a cook most of her life while raising seven children. She liked to go bowling and loved bingo. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and always told each of them that they were her favorite.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Paul Davis Sr.; second husband, Duane Durham; son, Kenneth Davis Jr.; parents, Charles and Elizabeth Ridenoure; two brothers, Argel Ridenoure and Mack Ridenoure; and two sisters, Oleta Eubank and Fern Robinson.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Smith, Barbara Beecher and husband Duane, Bryant Davis and wife Alissa, Earl Davis, Charles Davis and wife Shanna, and Renea York; three brothers, Jack Ridenoure, Chalk Ridenoure and Leroy Ridenoure; one sister, Annamae Snodgrass; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Aline First Christian Church or Aline First Christian Church Youth Group through the funeral home.
