ELNORA GRACE BRINSON
Ringwood, OK. -- Funeral service for Elnora Grace Brinson, age 88, will be Saturday, June 18, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Ringwood with Rev. Terrill Parvin and Rev. Jon Larson officiating. Burial will be in Aline Star Cemetery, east of Aline, OK. with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena, OK. Condolences or memories may be shared with the family at www.lanmanfuneralhomes.com by clicking on the Ultimate Tributes icon. The casket will be open today from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home and before the service on Saturday at the church.
Elnora Grace Allen was born on September 4, 1916, the daughter of Herb Allen and Nellie Chase Allen in Aline, OK. and passed from this life on June 15, 2005 at Integris Bass Baptist Hospital, Enid, OK., after a period of ill health. She attended Fairview Country School in rural Aline. She married Charley Brinson on November 24, 1937 and they made their home in the Ringwood-Cleo area. Charley preceded her in death in 1974. She was a member of the Ringwood United Methodist Church, was very involved in the MARC Center in Ringwood and in various other community activities. She devoted a large portion of her life to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Clide and wife, Roberta, Charles Junior and wife, Billie, Steve and wife, Betty, all of Ringwood, OK. Gary and wife, Glenda of Fairview, OK.; one brother, Melvin Allen and wife, Ula of Ringwood, OK.; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Elnora was preceded in death by her husband; one son; one great grandson; her parents; three sisters and one brother.
Memorials may be given to the Ringwood United Methodist Church or the Ringwood MARC Center through the funeral home.
