Walter Wolfe, son of George Wildcat and Lizzie (Taylor) Wildcat, was born on October 15, 1941 in Bunch, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with his Lord and Savior on December 16, 2017 in Bentonville, Arkansas with family at his side at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 1 day.

Walter enjoyed fishing, riding around on country roads listening to music, playing cards and dominoes. His most favorite joy was playing his guitars. He was a great biscuit maker and making gardens and raising plants. He loved reading his bible at night before going to bed and he could preach even though he wasn't one. But most of all, Walter loved his family and friends and enjoyed their company when they came to visit.

He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Lizzie Wildcat, sisters: Sarah Wolf, Annie Walkingstick, Leona Brown, Mary Gann, Martha Foster and Nellie Sue Burgess, brothers: Jeff Wolf, Tom Taylor, daughter: Loretta Sue Scraper and granddaughter: Darci Scraper.

Walter is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife: Terrie Wolfe, of the home in Westville, OK, brother: Roy Taylor of Stilwell, OK, sisters: Sara of Stilwell, Sharon of Tahlequah, OK, daughters: Ritha Wolfe of Virginia, Mary Ann Wolfe of OKC, OK, sons: Travis Wolfe and wife Christina of Westville, Rudy Wolfe of Westville, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 4 step daughters: Amanda, Elisa, Rosa, Courtney and he loved his cat, Beibei, short for Baby Boy.   A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive him.

Funeral services were held Friday, December 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Roberts & Hart Chapel in Westville. 

Interment was in the Westville City Cemetery.
