Peggy Marlene Turner, daughter of Benton and Georgia (McCoy) Fletcher, was born on November 7, 1940 in Watts, Oklahoma and departed this life on Sunday, March 31, 2013 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 72 years. 4 months and 24 days.
She was a lifelong resident of this area. Marlene retired from Franklin Electric in Siloam Springs after working there for many years. She married Otis Turner and the Lord blessed them with a wonderful family and a lifetime of memories. All who were fortunate enough to have known her will remember her smile, kindness and giving nature. Marlene will be deeply missed.
Preceding her in death were her parents: Benton and Georgia Fletcher, husband: Otis Turner, sister: Pat Ward and brother: Darrell Fletcher.
Remaining behind to keep her memory alive are her children: Lowanda Phillips and husband Tuff of Watts, OK, Les Turner of Siloam Springs, AR, Lori Phillips and husband Lonny of West Siloam Springs, OK, grandchildren: Shelly Self and husband Zack of Stilwell, OK, Shafawnda Saenz and husband Lalo of Stella, MO, Amy Nichols and husband Jay, Lindsey Lewis and husband Barton, all of Roland, OK, Travis Turner of Muskogee, OK, Cody Turner of Westville, OK, Lesly Turner of Watts, Josh Turner of Siloam Springs, Emma Phillips and Ethan Phillips of West Siloam Springs, six great grandchildren, sister: Ione Spencer and husband Glen of West Siloam. Marlene is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Roberts & Hart Chapel, Westville, OK with Bro. Warren Foxworthy officiating. Interment followed at Westville City Cemetery.
