Mildred Holland Turner, daughter of Ulysses and Martha Holland, was born December 13, 1912, in Summers, Arkansas and departed this life May 22, 2011, in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 98 years, 5 months and 10 days.
Mildred married Ted Turner on August 31, 1927, in Washington County, Arkansas. She was a member and piano player at the Chance Freewill Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted, two sons, Amos and Otis Turner.
She is survived by three sons, Everett and wife, Virginia, of Sperry, OK, Jim and wife, Ruby, Ray and wife, Maurine, of Westville, OK, sixteen grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren and a host of friends and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2011, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jim Beavers and Bro. Danny Crittenden officiating. Interment will follow at Westville City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
