On April 30, 1978, Thomas Theodore Murray was born to Tommy and Beverly Murray in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
He lived North of Westville, Oklahoma most of his life.
Teddy was born with a rope in one hand and a rifle in the other. He grew up doing everything his Daddy and Grandpa did, working the Sale Barns, working cows, putting up hay and going hunting. Nothing that moved was safe from his whirling rope. His brothers and sister often had rope burns from being caught in his lasso.
He faced each day with eager anticipation for what it would bring. He never half-heartedly or "sort-of" did anything. It was always full speed ahead.
He followed his dreams. His whole life he dreamed of being a hunting guide. His last days were spent fulfilling this dream.
His journey through the world ended in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado on October 29, 2007 at the age of 29 years, and 6 months.
He had a special place in his heart for Children. He loved them and they loved him. He had time, a kind word, and a smile for everyone.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dean and Betty Murray, and Walter and Eunice Mallory.
He leaves behind to follow, his parents; Tommy and Beverly Murray, one sister; Lori and her husband, Jared Sanders, and their daughters, Allison and Kylah, of Salem, Kentucky, three brothers; Matthew and his wife, Angie Murray, Mark Murray, Chad and his wife, Sarah Murray and their daughter, Anna Mae. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of very dear friends also survive him. He awaits our arrival to guide us through the hills of Heaven.
Services were held 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2007, at Bethany Free Holiness Church in Westville, Oklahoma with Rev. Jeff Wilcher, Rev. Channing Howard, and Rev. Dan Roberts officiating.
Interment followed at Westville City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
