Gracie Lee Meridith daughter of Clinton and Ethel Pauline (Allcorn) Neeley was born June 16, 1933 in Haskell, TX and departed this life on May 10, 2012 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 24 days.
She married Willard Dean Meridith on June 2, 1951 and to this union 6 children were born. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She worked as a waitress for many years and enjoyed all the times spent with her family.
Gracie was preceded in death by her parents; 1 infant daughter; Linda Jo Meridith, sister; Leah Rogers and 2 half brothers; Leonard and M L Rummage.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband of over 60 years; Willard Meridith of the home in Westville, OK, 5 children; Geneva Mains and husband Donald of Wichita, KS, David Meridith and wife Caron of Stilwell, OK, Jackie Fain and husband Tommy of Watts, OK, Richard Meridith and Becky Meridith both of Westville, OK. 10 grandchildren; Mista Pike, Christopher Hall, Bryan Meridith, Jeremy Meridith, Gerald Fain, Amy Hoping, Cody Meridith, Amber Meridith, Gracelin Meridith and William Meridith, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 2 sister; Evelyn Gilbert and husband Joel of Fayetteville, AR, Barbara Heatwole of August, KS, 1 brother; Duane Neeley of Westville, OK,1 brother in law; Lester Meridith of Piney, OK, 2 sisters in law; Delphia Partain of Beaverton, OR and Lorene Faddis of Piney, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Graveside services were held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Westville City Cemetery with Rev. Joe White officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
