Westville was saddened by the death of Tom MAXWELL, age 69, who died when his home burned early Tuesday morning.
MAXWELL had been in ill health for some time and was confined to his home west of the K.C.S. depot at the time of his death.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon by Rev. James SMITH. burial was in the Westville Cemetery.
Known survivors are one nephew and three nieces all living in California.
