Clara Herbert
November 21, 1922 - June 21, 2007
Clara Herbert was born November 21, 1922 in Elida, New Mexico to Jim Criswell and Bell (Thomas) Criswell.
She passed from this life June 21, 2007 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years and seven months.
Clara and Irwin Henry Herbert were united in marriage on December 25, 1945 in Elida, New Mexico. They spent 49 years together until Irwin's passing on October 23, 1995.
Clara worked as a cook for the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Country Acres Country Extension Club.
Her parents, her husband and four brothers and sisters preceded Clara in death.
She leaves behind her family which includes one son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Vickie Herbert, of Watts,OK; one daughter and son-in-law, Charlene and Hank Remy, of Poteau, OK; two grandsons, two granddaughters, ten great grandchildren; one brother, Burris Criswell, of Celevend, TN and one sister, Juanita Davis, of Amarillo, TX.
Several nieces, nephew and a host of friends and loved ones also survive her.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 25, 2007 at Hart Memorial Chapel in Westville, OKlahoma with Bro. Jim Beavers and Bro. Leroy Billy officiating.
Interment followed at the Westville City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
