Jesse Haden Gifford, son of Evert Bartlett and Alma Armine (Martin) Gifford, was born on November 13, 1924 in Westville, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years and 15 days.
Jesse supported his family as a self employed truck driver. He also spread fertilizer and bailed hay. He attended the Full Gospel Church in Westville. He enjoyed time spent with family and friends. He will be missed by all who were blessed to know him.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Evert and Alma Gifford, brothers: James Ray and Cecil Evert Gifford.
Surviving Jesse is his wife: Linda of the home near Westville, OK, children: Vicky Gifford of Stilwell, OK, Alan Gifford and wife Tiffany and Charles Gifford, all of Westville, grandchildren: Roger Mobley, Elijah Gifford, both of Westville, brother: Bill Cartel and wife Gladys of Prairie Grove, AR, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services at 1 pm on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Roberts & Hart Chapel, Westville, OK with Chris Harrison officiating. Interment followed at Westville City Cemetery.
