Louise (or Lou as she will be fondly remembered by those of us that were blessed to have known her and have her as part of our lives) married Bill G. Ellis and together they were very loving parents to their 6 children; Jeanie, Karen, David, Gary, Dana and Thea.

She helped support her family by working as a florist and then as a funeral attendant with Reed-Culver and Roberts/Reed-Culver for many years. Many will remember her bright eyes and uplifting smile as she greeted them. Louise loved cooking, sewing, gardening and time spent with her family. She was very artistic and creative. She enjoyed finding new items with which to decorate her home. Louise was a very loving and gentle soul. She was a member of and attended Stilwell First United Methodist Church while her health permitted.

She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Odean Thomas, her husband: Bill Ellis, brother: Herman (Shorty) Thomas, sister: Regina L. (Tootsie) Thomas, daughter-in-law: Maxine Ellis, grandson: Travis Grigg.

Louise is survived by her children: Jeanie Roten and husband Gary of Topeka, KS, Karen Grigg and husband Barney of Inola, OK, David Ellis of Tahlequah, OK, Gary Ellis and wife Gail of Gentry, AR, Dana Joe Ellis of Topeka, KS, Thea Dulin and husband Michael of Germany, 19 Grandchildren, 25 Great grandchildren, siblings: Nema Freeman of Broken Arrow, OK, Neoma Hammett of Stilwell, OK, John David Thomas of Sallisaw, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends also survive her.
