This community lost a highly respected, well known citizen in the death of J.D. CAMPBELL who died at his home north of town Tuesday night after a brief illness with heart trouble.
Mr. CAMPBELL was 71 years old at the time of his death and has lived in this section for some twenty years.
Mr. CAMPBELL was a good man and leaves besides his family a host of good friends to mourn his death.
The family has the sympathy of the entire community.
The funeral was conducted by Rev. Fred CARRINGTON Wednesday afternoon and the body laid to rest in the city cemetery.
