Jessie Marie Bullock, the daughter of Elmer and Birdie (Johnson) Holmes was born May 19, 1943, in Nettleton, Arkansas, and departed this life on March 22, 2006, at her home in Westville, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years, 10 months and 2 days.
Jessie was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.She was preceded in death by her mother Birdie (Johnson) Holmes; her first husband Howard Lee Hufstedler; one brother: Billy Paul Holmes; and one sister: Betty Faye Holmes.She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband Thomas Bullock of the home in Westville; five children: Howard Eugene Hufstedler and wife Tammy of Liman, South Carolina, Debra Joann Marshall of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Michael Ray Hufstedler and wife Rachel of Tampa, Florida, Gary Wayne Hufstedler of Billings, Montana and David Lee Hufstedler and wife Wendy of Billings, Montana; 26 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; her father Elmer Holmes of Jonesboro, Arkansas; four sisters: Louise Baty of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Jenette Goff of Portage, Michigan, Linda Barrett of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Shirley Holmes, of Portage, Michigan and two brothers: William Holmes and Jerry Holmes both of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.Graveside services were held 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2006 at the Westville Cemetery with Bro. Don Niblett officiating.
Interment followed under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Westville.
