Jimmie Soap, son of Walter Watt and Florence Fourkiller Soap was born January 11, 1935 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on August 7, 2014 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years, 6 months and 27 days.

He served his country proudly in the United States Army for 14 years. He was also a Cherokee Firefighter after retiring from Campbell Soup. He loved hunting, fishing, auctions, rodeos, gospel singings but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved everyone equally. Later in life he enjoyed daily Icee drinks and small snacks from Dora, he would have his hand held out waiting for it when she would arrive.

He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and loved his church family greatly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son John Petey Soap and 2 brothers Henry Soap and Johnson Soap.

Jimmie is survived by a very loving family that includes 3 children Gloria Soap Buchalski and husband Richard of Las Vegas, NV, Jim David Soap and help mate Dora Grayson of Stilwell, OK, Rosie Muskrat and husband Tim of Stilwell, OK, 13 grandchildren Raul Rubio Jr., Martin Rubio, Isabella Buchalski, Richard Baby Guy Buchalski, Tiffany Soap, Diamond Soap, Trace Soap, River Soap, Lake Soap, Justin Muskrat, Heather Vann, Paige Soap and Tristan JJ Soap, 4 great grandchildren Abby, Maddy, Kieran and Florence. Siblings, Walter Soap and wife Bunny of Wills Point, TX, Charlie Soap, Albert Soap and wife Marcia all of Stilwell, OK, Lee Roy Soap and wife Sue of Tulsa, OK, Carl Soap of Sand Springs, OK, Carlene Soap and companion Allan Jones of Stilwell, OK, Eugene Soap of Gulfport, FL, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Funeral services at 2 pm on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Bro. Wiley Lovejoy, Bro. Carl Soap and Bro. Joe Grayson officiating. Interment to follow at Tyler Springs Cemetery.
