Funeral services for Henry Soap will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at Hart Funeral Home with Pastor Willis Knight and Carl Soap officiating. Interment will be at Tyler Spring Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
Henry Soap was born February 15, 1933, in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Watt Soap and Nancy Jane (Wolfe) Soap. Henry left this life to be with this Lord on January 12, 2009, at Stilwell Memorial Hospital at the age of 75 years, 10 months and 27 days.
Henry worked at various places during his life in the local area and in Kansas. He retire from Simmons Industries in Siloam Springs, AR after several years of service. He enjoyed reading his Bible, gospel singing, fishing and visiting with friends and relatives. He was a member of the Fourkiller Baptist Church.
Henry was preceded in death by his father, Walter "Watt" Soap; his mother; Nancy Jane (Wolfe) Soap; stepmother, Florence (Soap) Hummingbird; one brother, Johnson Soap and one half-sister; Narcie (Wolfe) Vann.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife; Betty (Chuculate) Soap, of Stilwell, one brother; Jim Soap, of Stilwell, seven half-brothers; Albert Wolfe, of Stilwell, Charlie Soap and wife, Wilma Mankiller, Albert Soap and wife, Marcia, of Stilwell, Walter Soap and wife, Bunny, of Wills Point, TX, LeRoy Soap and wife, Lawaunta, of Muskogee, OK, Carl Soap and wife, Kim, of Tulsa, OK, Eugene Soap, of Lawrence, KS and one half-sister; Carlene Soap, of Stilwell, several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and loved ones.
