Albert Soap

Albert Soap, son of Walter "Watt" and Florence (Fourkiller) Soap was born January 21, 1947 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on April 29, 2016 surrounded by loved ones in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years, 3 months and 8 days.

Albert served his country proudly stationed in Korea in the United States Army during Vietnam. He married the love of his life Marcia Tahbone on February 7, 1970 and to this union 2 daughters were born; Elizabeth and Tonya. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Sociology from Northeastern State University.

Albert spent many years helping students in Adair County. He worked for Cherokee Nation, BIA, was a program director for University of Oklahoma in Stilwell, and retired from Westville Public Schools after many years of service. He was also a member of the Kiowa Gourd Clan. He attended Calvary Southern Baptist Church in Stilwell, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; Henry, Jim and Johnson Soap, son in law; Christopher Gonzales and nephew; John "Petey" Soap.

Albert is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife of over 46 years; Marcia Soap of the home in Stilwell, OK, 2 daughters; Elizabeth Setser of Edmond, OK, Tonya Means and husband Ray of Stilwell, Ok, 7 grandchildren; Colton Setser, Krista Setser, Alyssa Sellers and husband Oscar, Darren Setser, Drew Gonzales, Bryce Means, Addison Means, great grandchildren; Landon Setser, Lukas Setser, Remington Sellers, Laila Setser and 1 on the way. Adopted children; Gloria Buchalski and husband Richard of Las Vegas, NV, David Soap, Rosie Muskrat and husband Tim all of Stilwell, OK. 6 siblings; Walter Soap and wife Bunny, Charlie Soap, Roy Soap and wife Sue, Carl Soap, Carlene Soap and husband Allan Jones, Eugene Soap, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends also survive him.

Funeral services at 1 pm on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Roberts/Reed- Culver Chapel with Bro. Donnie Sanders, Raymond Keith Tahbone and Bro. Joey Ketcher officiating. Interment to follow at Tyler Springs Cemetery, Stilwell,Oklahoma
