Margie Louise Shook, daughter of Elmer Otto and Bessie Marie (Stephens) Stanley, was born on July 25, 1945 in Watts, Oklahoma and departed this life on Monday, May 2, 2016 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 70 years.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Margie helped support her family by working at Simmons for many years. She made many friends and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Margie will be deeply missed.

Her parents, brothers: Jim, Ed, Ronnie and sisters: Sue Lawmaster and Judy Brewer preceded her in death.

She is survived by a large and loving family that includes her husband: Richard Shook of the home near Westville, OK, daughters: Melissa Parker and husband Danny of Lebanon, TN, Judy Shook and companion Antonio Gonzalis of Stilwell, OK, LaSonya Shook and companion Jeff Robinson of Westville, Dana Smith and husband John of Siloam Springs, AR, Kimberly Shook of Westville, grandchildren: Kyle Fields and wife Melanie of West Fork, AR, Casey Fields and wife Joanna of Gentry, AR, Justin Chamberlain and wife Amber, Tyler Chamberlain all of Colcord, OK, Braden Gonzalis of Stilwell, Tanner, Abby and Zeke Robinson of Westville, OK, Ashley Bauser of Colcord, OK, Chassica Smith and Mason Smith of Siloam Springs, Mikey Shook of Westville, 8 great grandchildren, brother: Rick Stanley and wife Maryann of Oologah, Ok and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Old Baptist Mission Cemetery, Westville, Oklahoma with Bro. Jim Beavers officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville, Oklahoma.
