Juanita Roland, daughter of James and Susie Shell Daugherty, was born on August 1, 1928 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with her Lord on July 3, 2009 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years, 11 months and 2 days.
Juanita was married to Bobby Roland Sr. in Tulsa, OK. She was a homemaker her whole life. Juanita enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, gardening, fishing, working around her home and going to church. Juanita was a member of Fairfield Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her Parents: James and Susie Shell Daugherty, her Husband: Bobby Roland Sr., 1 Son: Howard Cummingdeer, 2 Daughters: Shirley Daugherty and Kathy Jo Coachman, 1 Brother: Wyley Daugherty.
Survivors include: 1 Son Bobby Roland and wife Michelle of the home, 3 Daughters: Carolyn Hammer and husband Melvin of Westville, OK., Agnes Scott and husband Lawrence of Stilwell, Patsy Harley of Okmulgee, 1 sister Ella Mae Murdock of Tulsa, OK., 28 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild and many other relatives and friends.
Services were held on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Gary Carey officiating. Interment followed at Tyler Springs Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
