ŠThe Stilwell Democrat Journal Wednesday, June 12, 2019 Submitted by Jan Grooms
Marilyn “Nana” (Wolfe) Pritchett, was born on March 13, 1954 at home in Stilwell. She was the daughter of Albert and Irene (Soap) Wolfe. She departed from this life to be with Our Lord on May 30, 2019 in Tahlequah with her loved ones by her side at the age of 65 years, 2 months and 17 days.
Marilyn attended Faith Baptist Church and helped her husband with church duties. She loved being a Sunday school teacher at Sequoyah Baptist Church. Marilyn loved being with her family, going to singings, talking about her days of working with the youth. She worked for the Cherokee Nation for many years in the accounting department, she loved her “family.” She enjoyed playing volleyball (she would get out there without her shoes on). Later in life, she enjoyed watching her husband, kids, grandkids and great grandkids play sports. She was their number one fan. She was the family “go to” girl, always there for whatever you might need, whether a band-aid, sleeve cut off, Tylenol, etc… If she didn’t have what you need, she would get it. Marilyn was an avid sports fan. She was our very own ESPN, she loved to watch sports of all kinds, including: St. Louis Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Lakers, Oklahoma Sooners, golf, tennis and volleyball. She also liked watching shows like Criminal Minds, Price is Right, The Last Alaskans and cooking shows.Interment followed at Tyler Springs Cemetery, Stilwell.
