Ralph Ketcher Sr. retired Coach and Teacher of Stilwell Oklahoma, passed on to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday May 25, 2016. Ralph was born March 31, 1940 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and was a member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma (4/4 Cherokee). He was an accomplished member of the community, a graduate of NSU, Tahlequah Oklahoma. He has taught and coached High School Athletics in; Watts, Stilwell, Haileyville, Cave Springs, and Sequoyah.

He was ordained into the ministry of our Almighty God in 1979. He served as pastor of Victory Baptist, Caney Baptist, Cross Roads, and member of Calvary Baptist.

His favorite pastime included hunting, fishing, golfing coaching, and spending time with his grandchildren and an avid reader of the Holy Bible.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Maida L. Ketcher and father, Ralph Ketcher, brother Mike Ketcher and sister Kathy Chevezi.

He is survived by; his 3 siblings, Robert Gene Ketcher and wife Pam Ketcher, Ronnie Ketcher, and Mary Jo Ketcher Goodall and his 4 Sons, Bryce Ketcher and wife Shirley, Kevin Ketcher and wife Lisa, and Ralph Ketcher Jr. and wife Martha, Joey Ketcher and wife Bobbie and 9 grandchildren, Trent, Robert, BJ, Tina, Sydney, Kyle, MaKenley, Chandra, and Annalise; 8 great grandchildren, Talon, Maddyx, Aleecia, Angelina, Kori Jo, Kingston, Diego, and Aryuanna and host of nieces, nephews and students . . . and Nee-ga-da Nee-tsa-la-gi.

Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Roberts Reed-Culver Chapel with Bro. Chuck Glass officiating. Interment followed at Tyler Springs Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
