Funeral services for Louise Hart, age 84, of Stilwell, were held Friday, March 9, 2007 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ferris Vann, Bro. Darrel Self and Bro. Donnie Sanders officiating. Interment followed at Tyler Springs Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.

Louise Hart was born to Isaac (Josh) Hummingbird and Ella Mae Chuculate, April 1, 1922.
She went home to be with the Lord on March 7, 2007 at the age of 84.

Louise was a full blood Cherokee and spoke the Cherokee language vey fluently. Louise was proud of her Cherokee heritage and had knowledge of medicinal herbs and other natural foods which she had learned from her parents. She was a longtime member of Fairfield Baptist Church and often told of fond church memories. Louise was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. She was a homemaker and she enjoyed caring for her family. She was a loving babysitter for many of her grandchildren, nieces and nephews and they loved her and she loved them. To all of those around her, she was "Granny Hart".

Louise married Wilbur Hart on May 28, 1951. They were married fifty-five years. To this union four children were born, Russell, Dennis, Margie and Sue Ella.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wilbur Hart; three sisters, Genora Grigsby, Marie McNac and JoAnn Hawkins; one infant sister; three brothers, Isaac, Jess and Jimmy Dale Hummingbird; one infant brother and one grandson, Rodney Hart.

She leaves behind a loving family including her children, Russell Hart, Dennis Hart and wife, Becky, Margie Hembree and husband, James, all of Stilwell, and Sue Ella Self and husband, Darrel, of West Siloam Spring, OK, two brothers, Rider Hummingbird and wife Betty, John E. Hummingbird and wife, Linda, all of Stilwell; one brother-in-law, Dean Grigsby, of Stilwell; two sisters-in-law, Faye Hummingbird, of Stilwell, Linda Cox, of Sallisaw, OK; seven grandchildren, Robin Wilson, Kerri Wolf, Mendi Eagleton, Stacy Hart, Josh Hembree, Zachary Self, Khloe Self and eleven great grandchildren.
