William Doyle Collins (known and loved as Bill) was the son of William Robert and Addie Mae (Roden) Collins. He was born on December 29, 1936 in Gans, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at 81 years of age.

You could always find Bill out in the barn doing woodwork. He took pride in taking care of his lawn. He was always saying it was time to mow, no matter how hot it was and how much you pleaded with him, he wouldn’t listen. And it didn’t matter who was playing, he enjoyed watching any sports game on TV but especially loved watching those Sooners. He supported all the local athletes at home or on the road, while his health permitted. A couple of his quotes to any player: “Shoot the ball” and “Right over the rim.” He enjoyed being around family.

He was preceded in death by his parents: William and Addie Collins, wife: Wanda Sue (Hogner) Collins, son: Kevin Collins, Jack Samms, sister: Christine Wilson, brother: Herbert Collins and great grandson: Malachi Smith.

He leaves behind a large and loving family that includes his wife: Lou Ann Collins of the home near Stilwell, grandchildren: William Collins of Chico, Calif., Robert Paul Collins of Stillwater, nephew: Bill Collins and wife Thelma of Catoosa, niece: Sue Rains and husband Larry of Conroe, Texas, daughters: Mary Samms, Diane Scraper and husband Rick, of Stilwell, grandchildren: Amber Dry and husband Kevin of Tahlequah, Amanda Mink, Zac Mink and wife Andrea, Matt Scraper of Stilwell, Jalen Scraper of Prairie Grove, Ark., great-grandchildren: Aubrey Smith, Uriah Smith, Cainan Mink, Emmary Mink, Avah Mink, Santana Scraper, Scarlett Scraper, Taylin Scraper, all of Stilwell.

Bill will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 29, 2018 at Roberts/Reed- Culver Chapel, Stilwell, with Bro. Joey Ketcher officiating. Interment followed at Tyler Springs Cemetery, Stilwell.
