Kevin Brian Collins son of Bill and Wanda Sue Hogner Collins was born May 8, 1962 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and departed this life on April 28, 2012 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 49 years, 11 months and 20 days.
Kevin earned a Masters Degree in Education and used his degree to teach at several schools over the years and also served as principal. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Wanda Hogner Collins, and his grandparents Bill and Addie Collins and Kate and Adam Hogner.
Kevin is survived by a very loving family that includes his children William Glen Collins and Robert Paul Collins both of Tulsa, OK, his father Bill Collins and wife Lou Ann of Stilwell, OK, Uncle Ben Hogner of Ft. Gibson, OK, aunts Kathryn Green of Muskogee, OK, Christine Wilson of Stilwell, OK. Several cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Stilwell with Bro. Roger Haney, Bro. Steve Yowell and Bro. Joey Ketcher officiating. Interment followed at Tyler Springs Cemetery.
