Mrs. Linda Faye Swepston, 42, a lifetime resident of Stilwell, died Thursday, April 15, 1990 at the Siloam Springs (Arkansas) Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Swepston was born July 3, 1947 in Stilwell to Chester and Gladys Patterson. She was married to Oscar (Butch) Swepston on December 16, 1985. She was a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to her husband of the home, include: two sons, James Wesley West and Kenvin Glen West both of Stilwell; two step-daughters, Lynn Smith of Westville, and Brianna Rich, Lincoln, Arkansas; a step-son, Sonny Swepston of the home; two grandsons; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Patterson, Stilwell; one sister, Galeatha Spencer, Stilwell; three brothers, Myrel Patterson, Proctor, Leonard Patterson, Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Ellis Patterson, Wichita Falls, Texas; and a special friend, Carlene Ward.
Services were held Saturday afternoon in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. G. H. Crittendon officiating. Interment was in the Terrell Cemetery.
