Buell Williams, son of U.G. and Ruby Merle (Newnam) Williams, was born on January 4, 1945 in Bennington,Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 74 years.
Buell loved God and he loved his family. They were his rock and he cherished every moment spent with them.
He was an avid outdoorsman. Buell enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and just enjoying nature. He liked gardening, growing food for his family and friends. Buell looked forward to his trips to Colorado. He would go panning for gold in hopes of finding that big nugget.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. His presence will be deeply missed.
Buell was preceded in death by his parents: U.G. (Uady) and Ruby Williams, brothers: U.G., David Cecil, Clayton, sister: Cossette and his wife of 27 years: Brenda Joan.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years: Sharon Williams of the home in Bunch, children: Carolyn Sanders and husband Sequoyah, Louise Caughman and husband Mark, Julie Wolfe and husband Levi, Bill Williams and wife Alison, all of Bunch, 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, sister: June Loyd and husband Azle, sisters-in-law: Fonda and Glenda, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, Oklahoma with Bro. Azle Loyd and Bro. Blue Hothouse officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell.
