Gary Dale Tibbit, son of Loyd Dale and Shirley Ann (Kelley) Tibbit, was born March 7, 1960 in Stilwell, Oklahoma, and departed this life on June 18, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 59 years, 3 months and 11 days.

Gary graduated from Stilwell High School in 1978. He then served in the Army National Guard for seven years. Gary was a very dedicated employee at Facet for over 41 years where he worked to provide for his family. He was a true outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, the creek and driving around to see the beautiful scenery God created. He enjoyed farm life and tending to his cows. He enjoyed time spent with family, especially grandkids. He attended First Christian Church for many years.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife; Donell (Dobbs) Tibbit of the home in Stilwell, children; Rebecca Lee Tibbit of Stilwell, Matthew Dale Tibbit and wife Kelsey of Prairie Grove, Ark., Dalana Vann of Stilwell, grandchildren; number one grandgirl,Destiny Lee Taylor, Madison and Karlee Ingram, Mackenzie and Aubrey Tibbit, Brooklyn, Adrian and Landon Vann. Great grandchildren; Zadon and Zoey Hallmark, Zenlee Taylor and one on the way, sisters; Karen Dotson and husband David of Stilwell, Debbie Smith and husband Rick of Pocola, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 22, 2019 in the First Christian Church with Eldon Wilson officiating.

Interment followed in the Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home
