Valerie Lynn Taylor, daughter of Cale Gonzales and Audra Louise Pettit was born December 17, 1962 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on December 14, 2019 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years, 11 months and 28 days.
Lynn married Curtis Taylor on July 17, 1999. Her hobbies included going to the creek, ball games, yard sales, and watching little kids. She enjoyed going to church and watching OU football.
She was baptized on December 8, 2019 and a faithful member of Piney Creek Baptist Church. Most of all she enjoyed family time but especially her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jeff Gonzales, and sister Saundra Pettit.
Lynn is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband: Curtis Taylor of the home; sons: Steven Kyle McNac (Martina) of Westville, William Justin McNac of Bunch, Rodney Brown, Curtis Beason; daughters: Alicia Kinsey, Penny Johnson; grandchildren: Lindsey McNac, McKenzie McNac, Brooklyn McNac, and Teagan Swake all of the home, Dallis McNac, Jonah Swake, Elijah McNac, Dajah McNac all of Westville; sister: Caleen Bolin and husband Everett of Dry Creek, mother-in-law: Carol Brown, sister-in-law: Brittany Dustiman (Tim); brother-in-law: Robert Dale Brown (Anna), nieces: Sheena Gonzales, Venessa Grimmett, Kelsey Bolin; nephews: Jeffrey Hayes Gonzales, Jonathan Cole Gonzales, one great-niece: LaVaya Bolin of Westville; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, with Pastor Avery McGee and Rev. Charlie Shell officiating.
Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery
