Mary Janelle Stewart daughter of Donald Lee and Saundra Ann (Chapman) Murphy was born March 26, 1959 in Ventura, CA and departed this life on February 28, 2015 at her home in Stilwell, OK at the age of 55 years, 11 months and 2 days.

Mary loved reading, was very gifted in craft making, enjoyed quilting, painting, cooking and especially loved baking even making her sonā€™s wedding cake. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father; Donald Murphy and brother; David Lee Murphy.

Mary is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband; Joseph Stewart of the home in Stilwell, OK, 3 children; Joseph Paul Stewart and wife Shelley of Shawnee, OK, Amanda Lynn Stewart, Christopher James Stewart and wife Katie Lynn, all of the home in Stilwell, OK. 1 unborn grandchild on the way, mother; Saundra Murphy of Ventura, CA, sister; Sherry Ann Murphy of the home in Stilwell, Ok, and many, many friends also survive her.

Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Pastor Max Ford officiating.

Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell, OK.
