Betty Jean "Stevens" Fourkiller was born October 17, 1927 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and went home to be with the Lord on April 2, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Betty was a lifelong resident of Stilwell and graduated from Stilwell High School. She worked at Stilwell Foods and retired after 35 years. She loved gardening and spent many hours raking leaves and planting flowers to have an immaculate yard. She loved to cook and made an amazing Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner. She was also known for her desserts, especially her "pig pickin" cake.
Betty sure loved the Lord and loved her family. Her most treasured times were when she was spending time with loved ones.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Fourkiller, grandson Chip Bayles and his wife Amber, grandson, Steve Bayles and his wife Monica, six great grandchildren, Kyle, Corey, Jordan, Austin, Blake and Brooke.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Sid and Mary Hill; first husband, Ray Stevens and daughter, Sharon Kay Bayles; 2nd husband, Paul Stevens; three brothers, Carl, Glen and Sweede Hill and two sisters, Paulene Wedell and Mildred Hill.
Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Christian Worship Center with Pastor Marty Jones officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the care and direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
