Stephanie Dawn Smith, daughter of Connie McKenzie and Rex Ferris Tidwell Sr., was born August 26, 1978 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and passed from this life without warning on November1, 2018 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 40 years, 2 months and 7 days.
She had a heart of gold. Her greatest accomplishments in life were her children in which she had a unique relationship with each one of them. She LOVED turtles, music, and was very talented in crafting – she could sew, quilt or just about anything. She had a very nurturing spirit and would help anyone in need. Stephanie will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Bill Smith, dad; Rex Ferris Tidwell Sr., maternal grandmother; Dorothy McKenzie and paternal grandparents; Millard and Virginia Tidwell.
Stephanie is survived by a very loving family that includes her children; Chase Martin and Chandler Martin of Stilwell, Jordan Smith and Brynley Rich both of Westville, mom; Connie Neeley and husband Mike of Westville, siblings; Christie Allen and husband Heath of Fayetteville, Ark., R.J. Tidwell and companion Briana Fourkiller, Starla Pettit and husband Littlewolfe all of Stilwell. Niece and nephews; Jonathon and Cady Atwater, Oaklee Tidwell, special friend who was like a sister; Amanda Simco, several aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, with Jeremy Rhodes officiating.
Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery.
