Debra “Debbie” Kay Tibbit Smith age 53 of Pocola, Oklahoma departed this life to be at her eternal home with Jesus on Wed., September 4, 2019 at Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

Debbie was born April 20, 1966 in Stilwell, Oklahoma, the youngest daughter of Loyd Dale Tibbit and Shirley Ann Kelley Tibbit. She graduated from Stilwell High School in 1984.

Debbie married Rick Smith on Oct. 26, 2002 in Eureka Springs, Ark.

She is survived by her husband Rick of the home, her children; Jerod Neale and wife Candice of Stilwell, Gayla Neale of Sallisaw, Kaitlin Grim and husband Eric of Gans, Brandon Smith and wife Courtney of Hackett, Ark. and Madison Martin and husband Brian of Greenwood, Ark. her grandchildren: Keira, Jaci, Abbiegayle, Abreeonna, Judson, AnnaKay, Isabella, Ryker, Kingsley, Dylan, Bronson, and Mercy.

She is also survived by her sister Karen Dotson and husband David of Stilwell, along with a host of extended family members and friends.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, her brother Gary D. Tibbit.

She was a member of the Hackett Baptist Church of Hackett, Ark. where she loved to worship her Lord, teach children and sing specials in church services. Debbie was a loving wife, mother and “Nonna.” She always had time for her family especially her grandchildren!  She was a great cook, party planner with plenty of good ole ‘Southern Charm.’ She also will be missed by her “Huddle” group with Shared Services Center, her employer in Ft. Smith, Ark.

Funeral services were held, Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 at the First Christian Church of Sallisaw, with pastor, Joe Silva officating.

Interment followed at New Hope Cemetery, Stilwell, under the direction of Agent, Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
