Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Jessie Lee Skidmore, born August 16, 1916 in Pearl, Texas, went to her Heavenly Rest on October 10, 2011 at the age of 95. She was the second of two children of Thomas J. Yates and Stella Jane Lacy.
Her parents, husband, Richard Osburn Skidmore, Jr. and sister Ruie Tondre Perkins all preceded her in death.
One daughter, Jean Besch and her husband Emerson of San Antonio, Texas, four grandchildren and their spouses, six great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces survive her. Jessie Lee also is survived by two younger sisters, Bobbie Pfeiler and her husband Lenert and Margie Sens all of Bunch OK.
The family extends thanks to the staff of the Stilwell Nursing Home and the Memorial Hospital Hospice Stilwell for their sensitive, devoted, and tender care of Jessie Lee. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the charity of choice.
Graveside ceremony will be at 10am on October 21, 2011 at the Stilwell Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
