Madeline Price daughter of S. P. and Mary Francis (White) Carter was born April 2, 1938 in Christie, OK and departed this life to be with our Lord surrounded by loved ones at her home in Stilwell, OK on March 14, 2015 at the age of 76 years, 11 months and 12 days.

Madeline married Leon Price and to this union 3 children were born; Danja, Jeff and Dana. She enjoyed being a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She owned and operated Chalk Bluff Grocery for over 20 years.

Madeline liked sewing, gardening, flowers and animals but most all she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; S.P. and Mary Carter, her husband; Leon Price, brothers; Drannon Carter, Fleet Carter, Wilburn Carter and granddaughter; Courtney Bird Arnold.

Madeline is survived by a very loving family that includes her 3 children; Danja Price-Paden and husband Tim of Cookson, OK, Jeff Price and wife Renae, Dana Bird and husband Rodney all of Stilwell, OK, godson; J.C. James of Texas, 4 grandchildren; Jeran Price and wife Aneesah, Kade Price and Chelsea Graves, Stephanie Moore and husband Jimmy, Brandy Seay and Kyle Pritchett, 12 great grandchildren; Nash, Kyrah, Tess, Kade, Mazie, Kruz, Jordan, Jaycee, Kailey, Zayden, Aubrey and Briar. Siblings; Renie Guinn of Cookson, OK, Nadine Ketcher of Tahlequah, OK, Lloyd Carter and wife Martha of Stilwell, OK, Forest Carter and wife Euna Fern of Tahlequah, Ok, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Funeral services were held, Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Life Church with Pastor Max Ford officiating. Interment followed in the Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
