Bonita Patterson
September 13, 1928 - June 4, 2007
Bonita (Holloway) Patterson was born to Clay and Grace (Divelbiss) Holloway on September 13, 1928 in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
She went home to be with the Lord on June 4, 2007 at the age of 78.
She attended Union Grade (now Cave Springs School at Bunch, OK) where she made many friends, some of who still remain friends. She married Paul Patterson on June 29, 1946. Bonnie received a Bachelors degree in education and taught at Rocky Mountain School, near Stilwell, OK, for 18 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Patterson, her parents, Clay and Grace Holloway, one sister, Mary Lee Cloud and three brothers, Cornelius, Howard and Cecil Holloway.
She is survived by her five children, Gloria Jean Eubanks and husband, Larry, of Stilwell, OK, Ronald Paul Patterson, of Tulsa, OK., Robert Dale Patterson and wife, Dianne, Janet Leigh Kester and husband, Larry, Patti Lynne Means and husband, Joe, all of Stilwell, OK., fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two on the way; three sisters, LaFerne Smith and Ruby Hatfield, both of Tahlequah, OK, Reba Herron, of Tulsa, OK and a host of nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Services were held on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at the Stilwell Church of Christ with Joe Smith officiating.
Interment followed at the Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
