Robert Jean Orman was born May 17, 1939, in Huntsville, Arkansas to David Lee Orman and Mary Ruth (White) Orman. He went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2008, in Stilwell, Oklahoma at 69 years of age.
In 1957, Robert was married to Sharon Ray in Los Angeles, CA. In 1981, he married his second wife, Gloria Elaine Denwalt in Tahlequah, OK. He was an evangelist and served as pastor of Westville Revival Center for two years and was employed by Blue Star Transportation as a truck driver. Robert was a family man who enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing the guitar and singing. He was a member of New Beginnings House of Prayer.
His parents and one brother, Roy Lee Orman, preceded him in death.
Surviving family members include his sons, David Orman and Annette, of Westville, Anthony Orman and Tracy, of Stilwell and Paul Orman, of Westville; daughters, Charlett Ashley and Toby, of Wagoner, OK, Marshella Ramirez and Carlos, of California and Bobby Jean Orman and John, of Westville; brothers, Harvey Orman, of Pryor, OK, Jimmy Orman, of Pelican Bay, TX and Charlie Orman, of West Siloam Springs, OK; sisters, Jewel Turner, of Ft. Worth, TX, Evelyn Dress, of Westville, Darlene Dorsey, of Ft. Worth, TX, Fairon Snow, of Ft. Worth, TX, Diane Johnson, of Fresno, CA and Frances Phillips, of Stilwell, 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many friends and loved ones.
