Welling, OK – Funeral services for Annette Nofire, age 51, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday June 18, 2010 at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel in Tahlequah. Reverend Ron Rice will preside. Interment will follow at the Stilwell City Cemetery. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of the Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
Annette Nofire was born September 18, 1958 in Tulsa, OK to Kenny McIntosh and Davetta Willis McIntosh. She started dating Sherman Nofire at the age of 15 ˝ and they were married in Poteau, OK on March 8, 1977. Annette was a lifelong resident of the Tahlequah area. She was a member of the Caney Creek Baptist Church. Annette considered her occupation as being a mother and grandmother; she enjoyed dancing, singing, cooking and going on walks.
Annette was preceded in death by one brother Jimmy McIntosh and by one sister, Marsena Ann McIntosh. She departed this life on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at the age of 51 years to begin her life with Jesus and her loved ones who have gone on before to a place where there is no pain, sorrow or heartache.
Survivors include, husband of 33 years, Sherman of the home; two daughters, Tahlina Nofire and her fiancé Cody Blakestead of Oologah and April Nofire of Pettit Bay; one son, Wesley Nofire and his fiancé Molly Robbins of Tulsa; parents, Kenny and Davetta McIntosh of Welling; two sisters, Kitty Wedge and Denise Davis both of welling; two grandchildren, Cayden Long and Addison Nofire; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
